In this paper, the characteristic impedance of a microstrip delay line is controlled by altering the effective area of the ground plane, which increases the performance of the line while maintaining a nearly constant time delay.
Abstract
The characteristic impedance of a microstrip delay line is controlled by altering the effective area of the ground plane. Reducing the effective ground plane area increases the characteristic impedance and improves the output rise time while maintaining a nearly constant time delay.

Resonator, filter, duplexer, and communication device

TL;DR: A resonator is a hollow dielectric element having a hole therein, a helical line unit including a plurality of helical lines formed in the hole, and a ground electrode formed on an outer surface of the inner surface as mentioned in this paper.

Etched inductance bandpass filter

Cooper R
TL;DR: In this article, a bandpass filter of one or more stages using etched inductors and designed for use in the VHF or UHF ranges is disclosed, and a modified filter stage is also disclosed to simplify tuning procedures for filters having three cascaded stages.

Phase delay line for collinear array antenna

TL;DR: In this article, a delay line is adapted to a collinear array antenna to suppress interference with an antenna radiation pattern to be minimum and to prevent the physical size of the antenna from increasing by constituting the delay line which is formed on an insulating board and has input/output of a conductor strip which is connected between input and output and has single spherical rotation.

Miniaturized strip-line directional coupler package having spirally wound coupling lines

TL;DR: In this paper, a strip-line directional coupler is provided in which the volumetric size is reduced without a reduction in electrical characteristics, and the input and output coupling lines are wound into separate spirals each having the same pitch so that they can be located at a fixed distance with respect to one another which is sufficiently close along their entire length to provide coupling of an input signal from the input coupling line to the output coupling line in the backwards direction.

High Q integrated resonator structure

TL;DR: In this paper, a planar inductor with a plurality of turns and a serially connected first and second capacitors was used to reduce the parasitic interconnection resistance between the planar induction and the capacitors and increase the Q factor of the L-C resonator.
