Nature of the radical formed during electrolytic reduction of 4-(2′-thienyl)quinazoline in dimethylformamide

TLDR
In this paper, a single broad EPR signal was obtained by correlating the experimental half-wave potentials and the color of the radical with HMO energies, and it was concluded that 4-TQ protonated at N 1 position is getting reduced to give the neutral radical.
