On the YIG film filters

TLDR
In this article, a new type of YIG film filter that consists of a microstrip line with a substrate of yIG films sandwiched between two dielectric slabs is proposed.
Abstract
A new type of YIG film filter that consists of a microstrip line with a substrate of YIG films sandwiched between two dielectric slabs is proposed. The dispersion and transmission characteristics are calculated numerically. Sharp stopband characteristics were observed experimentally with a half-power bandwidth of 16.4 MHz. Alternatively, in the same line with an air gap a bandpass characteristic was observed with a quality factor of 430. These experimental results are compared with theory. >

High-Q tunable dielectric resonator filters

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide newcomers and end users with the current status and prospective of using dielectric resonators for tunable filters, and show that the tuning range can be increased while maintaining reasonably high Q values by exploring the use of other modes.

Microstrip line tunable filters using yttrium iron garnet film substrate

TL;DR: In this article, a half wavelength microstrip line resonator with L-shaped stubs, longer side of which is parallel to the center strip, has been proposed so that attenuation poles are tunable with applied magnetic bias fields and synchronized with the passband.

Reciprocal and Nonreciprocal Modes of Propagation in Ferrite Stripline and Microstrip Devices

TL;DR: In this paper, an approximate analysis is presented together with a physical description of the modes of propagation in stripline and microstrip devices of significant width, using ferrite slabs as dielectric material, magnetized perpendicular to the ground plane.

Microstrip lines using yttrium iron garnet film

TL;DR: In this article, the dispersion characteristics and the transverse field distributions of microstrip lines were computed using a yttrium-iron-garnet (YIG) film on a gadolinium-galliumgarnets (GGG) substrate, and numerical results were presented to show a sharp cutoff characteristic for a large thickness of GGG, caused by the reduction in the negative permeability range.
