We present a technique which utilizes unitarity and collinear limits to construct ansatze for one-loop amplitudes in gauge theory. As an example, we obtain the one-loop contribution to amplitudes for $n$ gluon scattering in $N=4$ supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with the helicity configuration of the Parke-Taylor tree amplitudes. We prove that our $N=4$ ansatz is correct using general properties of the relevant one-loop $n$-point integrals. We also give the ``splitting amplitudes'' which govern the collinear behavior of one-loop helicity amplitudes in gauge theories.read more

Harmony of Scattering Amplitudes: From QCD to Gravity
TL;DR: In this article, a duality between color and kinematics in gauge theories was discovered, exposing gravity theories as double copies of gauge theories; these properties have been conjectured to hold to all loop orders.

Recursion relations for the general tree-level amplitudes in QCD with massive Dirac fields
TL;DR: In this article, the authors extend the BCFW relations to the QCD amplitude of which the external fields are all massive or include only one massless line, and they find such amplitude can be split into two parts and each part of the amplitude is of some correlated spin configuration between the two shifted lines.

An introduction to on-shell recursion relations
TL;DR: On-shell recursion relations for tree-level amplitudes have been studied in this paper, including on-shell relations for off-shell currents, recursion relation with nonzero boundary contributions, bonus relations, relations for rational parts of one-loop amplitudes, and a proof of CSW rules.
