TLDR
In this article, a novel perspective of probing universal character of gravity is expounded, which suggests that the universal nature of force further suggests that it is intrinsically attractive, self interactive and higher dimensional.Abstract:
I wish to expound a novel perspective of probing universal character of gravity. To begin with, inclusion of zero mass particle in mechanics leads to special relativity while its interaction with a universal force shared by all particles leads to general relativity. The universal nature of force further suggests that it is intrinsically attractive, self interactive and higher dimensional. I argue that the principle of universality could serve as a good guide for future directions.read more

A distinguishing gravitational property for gravitational equation in higher dimensions

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that pure Lovelock gravity has only one Nth order term in the action and that the Ricci tensor is the only Riemann tensor that can be given in terms of the corresponding L 1 for all O(d = 2N+1) dimensions.

TL;DR: In this article, the rescaled Gauss-Bonnet coupling constant was used as a repulsive effect to cause the Cauchy horizon to be added to the Schwarzshild horizon.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors look at the journey from the classical to the relativistic world as a simple and direct exercise first in recognition of universal character of universal entities and then carrying out the universalization.

Vacuum fluctuations of energy density can lead to the observed cosmological constant
TL;DR: In this article, it is argued that classical gravity is actually a probe of the vacuum fluctuations of energy density rather than the energy density itself, and that the observed value of the dark energy density is quite different from either of these and is close to the geometric mean of the two.
