Quantum Field Theory as Manifestation of Fractal Geometry

Ervin Goldfain
- 01 Sep 2013 -
TLDR
In this article, two theoretical arguments strongly suggesting that the continuum limit of Quantum Field Theory (QFT) leads to fractal geometry are discussed. The first argument stems from the Path Integral formulation of QFT, whereas the second one is an inevitable consequence of the Renormalization Group (RG).

The Seesaw Mechanism and the Structure of Spacetime above the Electroweak Scale

Ervin Goldfain
- 01 Oct 2014 -
TL;DR: In this article, the authors sidestep the seesaw mechanism and show that neutrino masses follow from placing the Standard Model on a spacetime support equipped with arbitrarily small deviations from four dimensions.

Solving the Naturalness Problem on Minimal Fractal Manifolds

Ervin Goldfain
- 01 Nov 2014 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors re-emphasize that the onset of the minimal fractal manifold near or above the electroweak scale provides a straightforward resolution of the naturalness problem.

Ultraviolet Completion of Electroweak Theory on Minimal Fractal Manifolds

Ervin Goldfain
- 01 Oct 2014 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors re-examine Moffat's scenario based on a finite electroweak Lagrangian built outside the Higgs paradigm and find that the theory is perturbatively well-behaved at large scattering cross-sections and that it gracefully connects with the conventional formulation of the SM in the limit of vanishing fractality.
