TLDR
In this paper, an RC filter was placed between the detector and recorder and the change in the height of a chromatographic peak depending on the ratio of time constant and standard deviation of the peak was used for noise reduction.

Gas chromatographic separation of some sulphur compounds on glass capillary columns using flame photometric detection

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used glass capillary columns deactivated by a thin layer of non-extractable Carbowax 20M coated with SF-96 for selective sulphur detection.

Experimental comparison of some detectors used in high-efficiency liquid chromatography

TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of the detectors that are most often used in high efficiency liquid chromatography were studied under identical conditions, including a differential refractometer, a capacitance detector, a UV spectrophotometer and two types of detector with effluent transporter.

A disc detector for liquid chromatography

TL;DR: In this article, a rotating circular net is used for liquid chromatography, where column effluent is continuously deposited on the net, which enters a flame ionization detector after the evaporation of the liquid phase.

Chapter 8 Instrumentation for liquid chromatography

TL;DR: This chapter discusses the instrumentation for liquid chromatography, and the classical procedures of column chromatography are still used predominantly and cannot be surpassed from the methodical point of view.

A sensitive detector for gas chromatography

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe an argon ionisation detector for gas chromatography apparatus, which is capable of responding to as little as 2 -10 -12 moles of most organic compounds and its response to different molecular species.
