In this paper, the evacuation population is divided into four categories to evacuate separately, and the relationship between different initial congestion degree and total evacuation time is obtained using dynamic programming method, the results show that when the population with different speed is evacuated separately, the optimal initial congestion level exists and the evacuation time can reach minimum.Abstract:
The rapid development of the subway contributes to public transportation, but at the same time the emergency evacuation of subway traffic puts forward higher requirements. At present, most of the studies on the emergency evacuation of the subway have neglected the differences in the mobility of different people in the subway stations, those studies are running out of time. In this paper, the evacuation population is divided into four categories to evacuate separately. Combining the theory of congestion, the relationship between different initial congestion degree and total evacuation time is obtained using dynamic programming method. The results show that when the population with different speed is evacuated separately, the optimal initial congestion degree exists and total evacuation time can reach minimum.read more

The Influence of Obstructions of Evacuation Node on Subway Stations Fire Evacuation Capability
Ying Huang,Jun Lei,Ke Wang +2 more
TL;DR: Through the pathfinder evacuation simulation software for typical subway station fire evacuation node obstacles exist situation simulation, it is concluded that the evacuation of node flow rate and the evacuation time and so on data, analyze the obstacles exist influence on safe evacuation capacity, thus performance-based fire design for subway station optimization, and provide reasonable suggestions for the establishment of the fire safety evacuation plan.
