Abstrak—Dalam penelitian ini dibahas analisis parameter akustik ruang hasil pengukuran dan simulasi optimasi tata letak loudspeaker pada ruang smart classroom Departemen Fisika ITS. Ruang smart classroom memiliki fungsi sebagai ruang kelas atau meeting room. Dalam mengevaluasi ruang tersebut parameter akustik ruang yang perlu diukur berdasarkan ISO 3382-1 adalah persebaran SPL, RT, dan C50. Metode yang digunakan dalam penellitian ini adalah metode impulse response. Pengambilan data dilakukan dalam dua keadaan yaitu saat ruang kosong dan saat ruang telah diisi meja dan kursi. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran diperoleh persebaran SPL yang merata dengan selisih titik terdekat dan titik terjauh sebesar 2 dB untuk dua keadaan. Nilai waktu dengung diperoleh sebesar 0,45 s untuk keadaan pertama dan 0,57 s untuk keadaan kedua. Nilai C50 untuk dua keadaan berada pada rentang -2 5 dB. Simulasi yang dilakukan adalah simulasi parameter akustik ruang pada kondisi eksisting dan perbaikan sistem tata suara. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, nilai terbaik diperoleh dari simulasi perbaikan sistem tata suara dimana hasil persebaran SPL lebih merata dan optimal, C50 berada pada rentang 1-3 dB. Namun untuk waktu dengung masih belum memenuhi rekomendasi yaitu sebesar 0,58 ketika ruangan berisi audience. Permasalahan rendahnya waktu dengung dapat diatasi dengan perbaikan komposisi material penyusun ruang atau perbaikan pengaturan sistem tata suara.

INTRODUCTION Reviews of low frequency noise in HVAC systems have been given by Beranek, 1989a,b; Blazier, 1981; Landstrom, Kjellberg and SOderberg, 1991; Blazier & Ebbing, 1992. The general character of air conditioning noise is of a spectrum falling with increasing frequency but with the possibility of spectral peaks. Ebbing and Blazier (1992) point out that the majority of low frequency rumble problems in HVAC arise from the fans or from ductwork vibration. Additionally, the trend is away from separate mechanical rooms to local installation of smaller units, which brings the problem closer to the building's occupants. Active noise control is now a well proven solution to many low-frequency industrial and HVAC noise problems. Industrial applications, including fans, vacuum pumps and compressors, often involve wet and corrosive environments, and very high amplitude noise sources. The outstanding advantages which have been recognized over conventional silencers include superior low-frequency attenuation with negligible flow restriction. Low restriction to flow leads to significant energy savings. Additional benefits are low weight and the ability to be fitted into existing duct arrangements. For commercial office buildings, hybrid active/passive silencers give attenuation over eight octave bands from 31.5 Hz to 4kHz. Active noise control systems also have the ability to \"shape\" the noise entering a room by selective attenuation and thus control its quality and comfort.
