- Vol. 7, Iss: 3, pp 297-301
TLDR
Chromatography of 47 cations in 11 solvent systems has been performed on stannic molybdate ion exchange papers as discussed by the authors, and some difficult separations, e.g., Rb from Cs, Al-Be-Ga, and Tl-In, have been achieved.
Abstract
Chromatography of 47 cations in 11 solvent systems has been performed on stannic molybdate ion exchange papers. Some difficult separations, e.g., Rb from Cs, Al-Be-Ga, and Tl-In, and specific separations of Ga, Au and Mg from numerous metal ions, have been achieved. R F values of some common metal ions on these papers have been compared with R F values of these cations on stannic tungstate and stannic phosphate papers. The preparation of papers is easy and the results are reproducible.

Synthetic Inorganic Ion-Exchangers

TL;DR: A review of the development of the synthetic inorganic ion exchangers during the 1970-1976 period has been made in this article, which includes synthesis, properties, and analytical applications of the hydrated oxides, acidic salts of multivalent metals, heteropolyacid salts, and synthetic zeolite-type materials that are used as ion-exchangers.

Studies on synthetic inorganic ion exchangers. IV. Electrophoretic behavior of metal ions on thorium phosphate papers

TL;DR: In this article, the electrophoretic behavior of 19 metal ions on thorium phosphate papers is described, based on the differential mobilities of the metal ions, which depend on the ion exchange properties of thorium dioxide and the nature of the complexes formed with the electrolyte.

Separation of Metal Ions on Titanium(IV) Molybdate Papers

TL;DR: In this paper, the movement of the cations is proportional to the activity of the developing medium, and various important separations are listed, including the separation of important cations.

Chromatographic Separation of Synthetic Isoflavones on Stannic Molybdate Papers

TL;DR: Chromatographic separation of 24 synthetic isoflavones on stannic molybdate papers has been described in this paper, where analytically and biochemically important separations, such as separation of isomers and that of having same molecular weights have been achieved.
