TLDR
In this article, the spin density radial distribution was found to be very similar to that of Fe, although the bands have electrons from both Fe and Pd. The asphericity was determined and was in fair agreement with the results of a coherent potential approximation calculation.
Abstract
Two alloys of the Fe-Pd system have been studied in the disordered state by means of polarized neutrons, Fe0.51Pd0.49 and Fe0.30Pd0.70; the latter was also studied at an intermediate degree of order. The alloy spin density radial distribution was found to be very similar to that of Fe, although the bands have electrons from both Fe and Pd. The asphericity was determined and found to be in fair agreement with the results of a coherent potential approximation calculation. In the case of the partially ordered alloy the individual site form factors were obtained and compared with those deduced from the data measured in ordered PePd3 by other authors.

Spin density in Co65Pd35 alloy

TL;DR: In this article, the spin density in Co65Pd35 disordered alloy has been determined by means of polarized neutron scattering, and the asphericity of spin distribution has been analyzed and the individual contributions of both Co and Pd have been deduced.

A general theory of X‐ray diffraction in crystals

TL;DR: In this paper, Werner pointed out what he believed to be an error in his paper concerning the physics of diffraction in perfect crystals, and called to the attention of X-ray crystallographers certain aspects of two papers (Werner & Arrott, 1965; Werner, King & Kendrick, 1966) on neutron diffraction which have a direct bearing on the extinction problem.

Hartree–Fock atomic scattering factors for the iron transition series

TL;DR: In this article, the Hartree-Fock wave function was used to determine the spatial symmetry of the outer electrons of the argon core, and the question of the constancy of the core was discussed quantitutively.

Electronic structure of palladium

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed analysis of the electronic structure of palladium is presented in terms of two different band models: (1) ab initio calculations using the augmented-plane-wave method, and (2) calculations using a combined interpolation scheme augmented by inclusion of relativistic corrections.

Analysis of Nucleon-Nucleus Collision of Energy around 100 GeV

TL;DR: The experimental data of nucleon-nucleus collisions of energies around 100 GeV have been analyzed in this article, showing that the transverse momentum, p T, of shower particles is also an adequate parameter to analyse the nucleon nucleus collision.
