Influence of Audit Committee Characteristics on Voluntary Ethics Disclosure
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of audit committee characteristics on voluntary ethics disclosure of the top 94 companies listed on Bursa Malaysia was examined, and the results from the study suggest that only two committee characteristics (tenure and multiple directorships) are associated with the voluntary ethics disclosures, whilst independence, expertise, meeting frequency and size were inconsistent.
