Sulfur analogs of imidodiphosphoric acid as extractants

TLDR
In this paper, the distribution of Ag, Zn, Cd, Sc, Eu, Hg, and Hf between mineral acids (HNO 3, HCl) and benzene solutions of selected sulfur derivatives of organophosphoric reagents containing the (RO 3 )PS group (X = O, S) was examined.
Abstract
The distribution of Ag, Zn, Cd, Sc, Eu, Hg, and Hf between mineral acids (HNO 3 , HCl) and benzene solutions of selected sulfur derivatives of organophosphoric reagents containing the P(X)NHP(X) or (RO 3 )PS group (X = O, S) was examined. The effect of the organic solvent was also investigated for Hg and some of the reagents. The composition of the complexes extracted was identified, and the corresponding extraction constants were calculated.

Bidentate organophosphorus ligands formed via P–N bond formation: synthesis and coordination chemistry

TL;DR: In this article, two related bidentate organophosphorus ligand systems prepared by phosphorus-nitrogen (P-N) bond formation (R2 (E)PNHPR2, RC(E)NHPR2 and their derivatives) are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hg(II) extraction by LIX 34. Mercury removal from sludge

TL;DR: In this article, the extraction of Hg(II) from 0.1 M KNO 3 by the commercial extractant LIX 34 dissolved in toluene has been studied as a function of the equilibrium pH and total concentrations of extractant and Hg 2 2+.

Solvent extraction of americium by imidodiphosphates and diimidotriphosphates

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of solvent extraction were described for determining the americium content in the liquid samples and the properties of tetraphenyl imidodiphosphates and their sulphur analogues for trivalent americium in the presence of trin-n-octylphosphine oxide (TOPO) were investigated.
