TL;DR: In this paper, a case study of the township of Delft in the City of Cape Town in South Africa is presented, showing that despite an enabling legislative and policy framework, there is little comprehension of, or interest, in the idea of developmental local government and municipal officials largely pay lip service to participatory processes which are carried out in a top-down fashion.

TL;DR: In this paper, the explanatory ability of cultural capital, which is generally considered more qualitatively and rarely quantified, for farmers' water conservation behavior was empirically tested, and the results of person correlation test showed significant relationships between all forms of culture capital and both intention to behave and behavior.
