The Hα-cyclonic spectra of a flare loop system on 1981 April 27
TLDR
In this article, the distribution of the internal motions and the macroscopical motion of the flare loop prominence with time and space in the course of its eruption and ascension are derived from the comprehensive analysis of the data.Abstract:
The data such as the Hα-spectrum-spectroheliographic (SSHG) observations, the Hα-chromospheric observations, etc., of a flare loop prominence which occurred on the western solar limb on 1981 April 27 have been obtained at Yunnan Observatory. The distribution of the internal motions and the macroscopical motion of the flare loop prominence with time and space in the course of its eruption and ascension is derived from the comprehensive analysis of the data. The possible physical pictures and the instability of the motions of the loop are inferred and discussed.read more

Speeds of Rising Post-Flare Structures
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate several cases of post-flare loop systems which rise with constant speed for many hours, three of them observed by Yohkoh, which imply that the Kopp and Pneuman interpretation of postflare loops as sequentially reconnecting open field lines cannot be generally valid.

The kinematic processes in solar prominences and flares and their spectral features
Yė Shi-Hui,Jin Jie-hai +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, various models of mass motions in solar prominences and flares, such as expansion, contraction and rotation without or with depth gradients, are considered, and the variation of the source function with depth is also taken into account.

The loop prominence of 1984 February 18 and its velocity field
Xiao-ma Gu,Qiu-sha Li +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a morphological analysis of the Hα chromosphere of the post-flare of 1984 Feb 18 and its Hα-SSHG spectrum was presented.

Rotational models of solar prominences and flares
Ye Shi-Hui,Jin Jie-hai +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the profile of the Balmer lines and their variation from the centre of the prominence to the edge were calculated for finding the spin velocity from the inclination or shift of the lines and the velocity gradient from the curvature of the line.

Spectral features to be expected from rotational and expansional motions in fine solar structures
TL;DR: In this article, the shapes of spectral features (lines) to be expected from rotating or expanding fine solar filaments, loops, and knots (oriented variously to the spectrograph slit) are given and discussed.

Multiple loop activations and continuous energy release in the solar flare of June 15, 1973
TL;DR: The spatial and temporal evolution of the high temperature plasma in the flare of 1973 June 15 has been studied using the flare images photographed by the NRL XUV spectroheliograph on Skylab as mentioned in this paper.

The loop prominence of 11 August 1972: A coronal continuum event
TL;DR: In this article, the line ratio of the Ca xv forbidden lines and a Thompson scattering model were used to estimate the electron density of a loop prominence formed after the flare of 11 August 1972.
