TL;DR: A survey of metacestodes of dilepidid tapeworms (Cyclophyllidea) occurring in fish from Mexico is presented and it is shown that Dendrouterina papillifera, previously reported from the gall-bladder of the pimelodid catfish Rhamdia guatemalensis, belong actually to V. minuta.

TL;DR: In adult stage, Glossocercus caribaensis was the species with the largest host spectrum, while Paradilepis caballeroi has the widest distribution range, as well as habitat, distribution, references and information on specimens' deposition are presented.
