TLDR
In this paper, a formulation for obtaining diffusivities of hydrogen in f.c. metals from cluster calculations of activation energies is developed and a theoretical diffusivity curve is also suggested for hydrogen in rhodium.

Quantum nuclear effects on the location of hydrogen above and below the palladium (100) surface

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report ab initio path integral molecular dynamics simulations of hydrogen and deuterium adsorbed on and absorbed in the Pd(100) surface at 100 K.

Empirical Models for Octahedral and Tetrahedral Occupation in PdH and in PdD at High Loading

TL;DR: In this paper, empirical models for both PdD and PdH that assume an O-site energy quadratic in loading and an Osite to T-site excitation which is either constant in loading, or else taken as an empirical function fit to estimates inferred from the analysis of experimental data are presented.

Anomalous Transport and Possible Phase Transition in Palladium Nanojunctions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present transport measurements in electromigrated palladium break junction devices showing the emergence at low temperatures of anomalous sharp features in the differential conductance, which appear symmetrically in applied bias and exhibit a temperature dependence of their characteristic voltages reminiscent of a mean-field phase transition.

Characterization of hydrogen responsive nanoporous palladium films synthesized via a spontaneous galvanic displacement reaction

TL;DR: X-ray diffraction and inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectroscopy are employed to study changes in morphology and chemistry occurring in these nanoporous films under different processing conditions, providing evidence in support of observed nanomechanical response/recovery profiles offering insight for catalysis, H(2) storage and improved sensing applications.
