TL;DR: This article analyzed two years of social media activity of three associations of language activists in the Balearic Islands, together with other materials, showing how activists engaged in a struggle for the legitimisation of an alternative standard that revolved around authenticity ideologies, while they simultaneously secured the anonymity value of Castilian.
