In this article, an individual pitch control strategy based on the combined feedback of output power and azimuth is proposed to reduce the impact of wind turbine output power fluctuations on voltage flicker.
Abstract
In order to reduce the impact of wind turbine output power fluctuations on voltage flicker, an individual pitch control strategy based on the combined feedback of output power and azimuth is proposed. First, an equivalent wind speed model considering turbulent wind, wind shear and tower shadow effect is established, and a wind turbine control model is built based on FAST-MATLAB/Simulink. Secondly, a band-pass filter is designed in the individual pitch control loop to filter out the 3P pulsation component of the wind turbine output power, and the pitch angle adjustment signal is obtained through the BP neural network PID controller to combine the azimuth angle to transform it into each the pitch angle adjustment signal of the blade is superimposed with the unified pitch angle to reduce the power fluctuation of the wind turbine. Finally, simulation analysis is carried out based on the FAST-MATLAB/Simulink platform. The simulation results show that, compared with the traditional PI individual pitch control, the joint control strategy can effectively stabilize the output power of the wind turbine and reduce the voltage flicker.
