Abstract
I present a brief review of the present status of X-ray emissi on from Magnetic Cataclysmic Variables (MCVs). A short introduction to the types of Cataclysmic Variables (CVs) is followed by a presentation of some of the properties of the two types of MCVs - Polars and Intermediate Polars (IPs) as seen in X-rays. Finally X-ray spectra of MCVs and future prospects of their studies are discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the evolution of non-magnetic systems with respect to cataclysmic variables and their evolution in the last few hundred million years, using the Bibliography Index.
