The proposed models and searches provide a first step towards a systematic broadening of the displaced dark matter search programme.
Combined with results from other EROS observation programs, this analysis yields strong limits on the amount of Galactic dark matter made of compact objects.
Our calculations are valid provided the Dark Matter particles have experienced a phase of statistical equilibrium at some stage during their evolution.
We show that the dark matter yield crucially depends on the inflationary scale.
Although uncertainties remain significant, these results favor dark matter distributions with a cusped density profile.

We also demonstrate that the dark sector should be colder than the ordinary sector, relaxing the most stringent free-streaming constraints on light dark matter candidates.
We show that there exist dark matter candidates which can explain the CDMS-II-Si data and remain very marginally consistent with the null results of all current experiments, however such models are highly tuned, making a dark matter interpretation of CDMS-II-Si very unlikely.
