On a per molecule basis, it is much more effective a greenhouse gas than additional CO2.
Accordingly, utilizing ammonium bicarbonate, calcium superphosphate, and potassium chloride would be beneficial for greenhouse gas emission reduction and could be adopted as a good practice of low-carbon agriculture in China.
When ammonia is in deficit, it should be fully taken up by the aerosol as ammonium and no significant ammonia should remain in the gas phase.
The calcareous and ferrous materials can increase the ammonium content of the gas at low temperatures by converting part of the organic nitrogen into ammonia if gas contains high tar loading.
The existence of solid ammonium chloride aerosols is thermodynamically possible at temperatures and concentrations observed in the troposphere, but significant gas phase concentrations of hydrogen chloride and ammonia will also be present.
Overall this experiment confirms the property of the RBC system to remove ammonium to nitrogen gas without the use of heterotrophic carbon source.
Chromium oxide and ammonium dichromate would have a significant effect on the gas phase reaction and on both condensed-phase and gas phase reaction, respectively.
Hence, when the effects of ammonium nutrition on the uptake of other ions are studied in greenhouse experiments, it is therefore necessary to avoid circumstances that may lead to a confounding of weather conditions and experimental treatments.
These effects have a much smaller impact on the comparison of a laboratory reference gas with N2O synthesized from isotopically characterized ammonium nitrate.
Regression analysis of ammonium concentration with rain volume and deposition indicates that NH3 concentration is being controlled by both gas and particulate ammonium.
