Abstract: The single-row four-point contact ball slewing bearing has a large structure and is subjected to heavy load, which requires extremely high carrying capacity. The structural parameters of the ball diameter and the number of balls are optimized with the fixed size of the inner and outer rings of the slewing bearing. Numerical methods based on static bearing capacity and fatigue life are used to optimize the structural parameters of the slewing bearing. The finite element model and the local finite element model of the slewing bearing are established to analyze the carrying capacity of different structural parameters. The Hertz contact theory and the experiment are used to compare the theoretically calculated load distribution, contact stress, contact area and deformation. Optimization of structural parameters of the slewing bearing is beneficial to improve the carrying capacity and service life, which provides an important reference for designers.

Abstract: Slewing bearing is one of key components in the large size machinery and its remaining useful life (RUL) prediction is required to schedule a future action to avoid catastrophic events, extend life cycles, etc. The vibration-based method has been widely used in the RUL prediction. However, the spurious fluctuation usually exists in the vibration signal when the machines are operated under complex conditions. In order to enhance performance of RUL prediction model, two kinds of new health indicators are constructed by the spatial-temporal (ST) information firstly. One is the temporal indicators, which are derived by using the smoothing mean values of positive and negative vibration signal. Another is the spatial indicator, which is defined by fusing the multi-features extracted from the balance position information of vibration signal. During this process, a new data processing method proposed in this paper improves the quality of the vibration data and increases the number of samples. And then, the RUL prediction model is presented by combing the ST indicators and long-short-term memory network (LSTM) to establish the relationship between the ST indicators and the RUL of slewing bearings and overcome the sparsity of data. Moreover, in order to accelerate the adjustment of ST-LSTM model, a fine-tuning ST-LSTM model is further proposed by incorporating the generative adversarial networks (GAN) into the ST-LSTM. Experimental results verify that the proposed RUL prediction model can well estimate the RUL of slewing bearings and its performance is superior to some existing methods.

Abstract: The article deals with the creation of 3D model of slewing bearing with the support of the 3D modeling software Creo Parametric 3.0 and with support of Apex Grizzly 16, that is especially suited for creation of a high-quality mesh on a variety of 2D or 3D models. The basic task will be, to define specific type of slewing bearing and find out the basic parameters, like ball diameter, diameter of inner and outer race, and pitch diameter of rolling tracks that are necessary for its construction. After we create suitable 3D model of slewing bearing, we need to divide the base model of ball into the several parts that will allow us to create a quality and uniform finite element mesh on the entire volume of the meshed part. After transforming the model into the program Apex Grizzly, we can create basic mesh and find optimal mesh values for each element of divided bearing separately.

Abstract: Slewing support is widely used in large slewing machinery such as rocket launching platform, wind turbine and port crane. The accurate analysis of the internal stress in the raceway of ball roller is an important basis for studying the cause of bearing fatigue failure and improving the reliability of slewing support. In this paper, the finite element model of thrust angular contact rotary support was established in ANSYS. The stress distribution of the raceway of the ball under different working conditions was calculated by using bilinear isotropic plastic materials and linear elastic materials, and the equivalent stress resulted of the contact surface were compared with the Hertz contact model. This paper studied the factors that affect the distribution of the equivalent stress on the contact surface, calculates the ratio of the equivalent shear stress and the normal stress on the contact surface by finite element method, namely the equivalent friction coefficient, and studied the effect of the equivalent friction coefficient on the distribution of the stress inside the rolling ball. Simulation results show that plasticity occurs in the rolling ball.

Abstract: A slew bearing including a stationary bearing ring to be fixed to a base, and a moveable bearing ring which is to be fixed to a moveable object and which is concentric with the stationary bearing ring, the stationary bearing ring and moveable bearing ring being configured to enable rotation of the moveable bearing ring relative to the stationary bearing ring, wherein the moveable bearing ring comprises a top ring member, a bottom ring member, and a middle ring member in between the top and bottom ring member, the top, middle and bottom ring members each being formed by a plurality of ring segments wherein vertical joints between ring segments of adjacent ring members are not aligned to each other, wherein the top, middle and bottom ring member comprise a plurality of holes distributed about the circumference of the moveable ring, respectively, wherein the top, middle and bottom ring member are connected to each other by a plurality of bolts received in the corresponding holes of the moveable ring member, and wherein at least one hole in the middle ring member and a corresponding hole in the top ring member and/or a corresponding hole in the bottom ring member are provided with a tubular alignment member having an outer diameter equal to the corresponding holes, an inner diameter allowing to receive a bolt, and a length large enough to extend from the middle ring member to the top ring member and/or the bottom ring member, respectively.

When a slewing frame (1) is seen from a side, a first reinforcement member (11) is provided from a boom foot section (5) to a front side part of a slewing bearing (22), a second reinforcement member (12) is provided from the boom foot section (5) to a mast foot section (6), and a third reinforcement member (13) is provided from the mast foot section (6) to a rear side part of the slewing bearing (22). Abstract: The line-marking tool attaches to a pad of paper. The line-marking tool comprises an anchored straight edge, a rotating straight edge, and a slewing bearing. The slewing bearing attaches the rotating straight edge to the anchored straight edge. The anchored straight edge attaches to the pad of paper such that the position of the anchored straight edge relative to the top sheet of the pad of paper is fixed. The anchored straight edge and the rotating straight edge are used to draw straight lines on the top sheet. The slewing bearing adjusts the cant of the rotating straight edge relative to the anchored straight edge such that a cant is formed between a line drawn using the rotating straight edge and a line drawn using the anchored straight edge. The slewing bearing is calibrated to form a precise angle of cant on the top sheet.

Abstract: The invention discloses a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle friction disc energy dissipation rope hook recovery device, which comprises a friction supporting chassis, a swing rod support and a recovery rope assembly, wherein the friction supporting chassis comprises a chassis main body, a slewing bearing arranged in the middle of the chassis main body and a brake caliper arranged on the side portion of the slewing bearing; the swing rod support comprises a supporting arm assembly, a rotary main body connected with the slewing bearing and a friction disc matched with the brake caliper; the twoends of the recovery rope assembly are connected with the upper end and the lower end of the swing rod support respectively. According to the fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle friction disc energy consumption rope hook recovery device, the caliper disc type brake device is adopted to consume kinetic energy of an unmanned aerial vehicle, so that the recovery process of the unmanned aerial vehicleis controllable, and the requirement for the strength of wings of the unmanned aerial vehicle is lowered.

Abstract: This study is about design and verification of stress reduction of bearings for wind turbines. In a slewing bearing having a typical four-contact structure, the contact point moves to the end of the raceway due to a large moment load, resulting in a stress concentration. A bearing was designed to reduce such contact point movement. The deformation behavior of typical ball bearings and newly designed bearings was calculated through finite element analysis under ultimate load by replacing the ball with a spring element. The contact stress between the ball and the raceway was calculated by finite element analysis by inputting the deformation behavior analysis result as a boundary condition. The effectiveness of the bearing stress analysis method using spring elements was verified through comparison of the contact stress according to the bearing structure.

The on-line digital detection and feedback automatic correction device comprises a servo correction part arranged at the front end of a cooling section of the PE pipe and a laser detection part arranged at the rear end of the cooling section of the PE pipe;the laser detection part comprises a first servo motor; an output shaft of the first servo motor is connected with a first driving gear; the first driving gear is engaged with a toothed outer ring ofa first slewing bearing; a laser sensor is arranged on the toothed outer ring of the first slewing bearing; an output shaft of a second servo motor is connected with a second driving gear; the seconddriving gear is engaged with a toothed outer ring of a second slewing bearing; a correcting mechanism assembly comprises a third servo motor and sliding blocks positioned on two sides of the third servo motor; the third servo motor and the sliding blocks are mounted on the toothed outer ring of the second slewing bearing; a roller frame is fixedly mounted on a sliding rail, and is connected witha screw rod through a nut; the screw rod is connected with an output shaft of the third servo motor; and a tapered roller is mounted on the roller frame.
