Femtosecond Laser Written Depressed-Cladding Waveguide 2 × 2, 1 × 2 and 3 × 3 Directional Couplers in Tm3+:YAG Crystal.
TL;DR: The fabrication of depressed-cladding waveguide 2D 2 × 2, 1 × 2 and 3D 3 × 3 directional couplers in Tm3+:YAG crystal by femtosecond laser writing opens up new opportunities in the beneficial fabrication of 3D circuits and devices in crystals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Angular Schmidt modes in spontaneous parametric down-conversion
TL;DR: In this paper, a proof-of-principle experiment was conducted to demonstrate that an appropriately chosen set of Hermite-Gaussian modes constitutes a Schmidt decomposition for transverse momentum states of biphotons generated in the process of spontaneous parametric downconversion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multiphoton subtracted thermal states: Description, preparation, and reconstruction
Yu. I. Bogdanov,Yu. I. Bogdanov,Yu. I. Bogdanov,K. G. Katamadze,K. G. Katamadze,K. G. Katamadze,G. V. Avosopiants,G. V. Avosopiants,G. V. Avosopiants,L. V. Belinsky,L. V. Belinsky,N. A. Bogdanova,N. A. Bogdanova,A. A. Kalinkin,Sergei P. Kulik +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a method of up to ten photon subtracted state preparation with use of just one single-photon detector and all the states were measured with a balanced homodyne technique and the corresponding density matrices were reconstructed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reconfigurable Photonics on a Glass Chip
I. V. Dyakonov,Ivan Pogorelov,I. B. Bobrov,A. A. Kalinkin,Stanislav Straupe,Sergei P. Kulik,Pavel Dyakonov,Stanislav A. Evlashin +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a femtosecond-laser-writing technology for creating programmable photonic circuitry is presented, which demonstrates a less expensive, faster femtocondlaser writing technology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reconfigurable photonics on a glass chip
I. V. Dyakonov,Ivan Pogorelov,I. B. Bobrov,A. A. Kalinkin,Pavel Dyakonov,Stanislav A. Evlashin,Stanislav Straupe,Sergei P. Kulik +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a femtosecond laser-written multiport interferometer with 12 thermooptical phase shifters has been demonstrated for linear-optical quantum computing.
