Journal ArticleDOI

A general method for facilitating heterodimeric pairing between two proteins: application to expression of alpha and beta T-cell receptor extracellular segments.

TL;DR: 30-amino acid-long segments are added to the carboxyl termini of alpha and beta extracellular domains via a cleavable flexible linker to be broadly useful in the efficient production and purification of TCRs as well as other heterodimeric proteins.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of a common docking topology with substantial variation among different tcr-peptide-mhc complexes

TL;DR: Comparison of the structure of the N15 TCR-VSV8-H-2Kb complex revealed a common docking mode, regardless of TCR specificity or species origin, in which the TCR variable Valpha domain overlie the MHC alpha2 helix and the Vbeta domain overlies the M HC alpha1 helix.
