Production of ρ0 and f in π−p interactions at 16 GeV/c and separation into fragmentation and central components
J. Bartke,H. Kirk,P. Sixel,H. Nowak,Maggie C. Walter,K. Böckmann,J. Lowsky,R. Roedel,G. Zobernig,V.T. Cocconi,M. J. Counihan,G. Kellner,P. K. Malhotra,D. R. O. Morrison,H. Saarikko,E. Leitner,J. Stiewe,T. Coghen,A. Guła,H. Abramowicz,A. Zieminski +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, the production of ρ0(770) and f(1270) in π−p interactions at 16 GeV/c was studied and it was found that the data can be interpreted in terms of two production processes: the central production of resonances and the fragmentation of the beam particle.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multiplicity distributions and double-scattering effects in π−d interactions at 360 GeV/c☆
K. Moriyasu,T. H. Burnett,D. Holmgren,Henry Lubatti,D. Rees,G.M. Swider,B. Yuldashiev,K. Dziunikowska,A. Eskreys,K. Eskreys,A. Guła,Danuta Kisielewska,H. Rudnicka,P. Stopa,Winston Ko,R. L. Lander,J.S. Pearson,D. E. Pellett,P. M. Yager,H. Abramowicz,M. Bardadin-Otwinowska,R. Gokieli,G. Sinapius,M. Szeptycka,A.K. Wróblewski,A. Zieminski +25 more
TL;DR: In this article, double-scattering effects are studied in π − d interactions at 360 GeV/ c, and the partial cross sections σ N (π − d ), σ n (π−p ), π n (φ − p ), ρ n ( ρ − n ) and ρ N (ρ n ) are presented.

Shahina,Joachim Görres,Donald Robertson,Manoel Couder,Orlando Gomez,A. Guła,M. Hanhardt,Thomas Kadlecek,Rebeka Kelmar,P. Scholz,A. Simon,Edward Stech,Frank Strieder,Michael Wiescher +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors measured the strength of the predicted resonance at 650 keV for the first time and found an upper limit of $\omega\gamma$ $\mathrm{<0.15}$ $\mu eV$ with significantly lower uncertainties compared to previous measurements.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A. Guła,Daniel Arnold,J.L. Barney,Kerry Boyd,M. Caffrey,M. Holloway,M. Kroupa,Brian A. Larsen,Carlos Maldonado,Susan Mendel,Zachary Miller,Rachel Simms +11 more
TL;DR: The Experiment for Space Radiation Analysis (ESRA) mission as mentioned in this paper is the first in a series of demonstration and validation missions for the Los Alamos National Laboratory's Energetic charged particle (ECP) instrument.

Differential cross sections for the charge exchange process π+p → π0 (π+p) at 8, 16 and 23 GeV/c
M. Deutschmann,R. Honecker,K. Rumpf,U. Kundt,Maggie C. Walter,U. Idschok,R. Hartmann,V. T. Cocconi,T. Coghen,S. Humble,A. Kotański,D. R. O. Morrison,J. Figiel,A. Guła,P. Malecki,B. Muryn,L. Suszycki,A. Zalewska,J. Zaorska,T. Hirose,E. Leitner +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the differential cross section for the charge exchange process π+p → π0 (π+p) at 8, 16 and 23 GeV/c is presented for several regions of the π + p effective mass.
