Evidence for a new {sup 12}C state at 13.3 MeV
Martin Freer,N. I. Ashwood,M. Barr,Nigel Curtis,J. D. Malcolm,C. Wheldon,V. A. Ziman,Sergio Almaraz-Calderon,Ani Aprahamian,B. Bucher,Manoel Couder,Xiao Fang,F. Jung,Wenting Lu,Amy Roberts,Wanpeng Tan,P. Copp,Shelly Lesher +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the two reactions {sup 12}C (sup 4}He,{sup 4]He + {sup 4 He + {Sup 4 He+He+He + ]sup 4He + ǫHe+ǫ He + Ã He+ Ã 4 He)n were measured using an array of four double-sided strip detectors, and evidence was found for a new state at 13.3(0.2) MeV with a width 1.7( 0.2).
Journal ArticleDOI
The Be-7(d,p)2-alpha cross section at big bang energies and the primordial Li-7 abundances
Carmen Angulo,E. Casarejos,Manoel Couder,Manoel Couder,P. Demaret,Pierre Leleux,F. Vanderbist,A. Coc,Jürgen Kiener,Vincent Tatischeff,T. Davinson,A.S. Murphy,N.L. Achouri,N. A. Orr,D. Cortina-Gil,P. Figuera,B. R. Fulton,Ivan Mukha,Ivan Mukha,Elisabeth Vangioni +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that nuclear uncertainties alone cannot explain the discrepancy between observed and predicted primordial 7Li abundances, and an alternative astrophysical solution must be investigated.
