Journal ArticleDOI

X-ray analysis of ZnO nanoparticles by Williamson–Hall and size–strain plot methods

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the Williamson-Hall analysis and size-strain plot method to study the individual contributions of crystallite sizes and lattice strain on the peak broadening of ZnO-NPs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of annealing temperature on some structural and optical properties of ZnO nanoparticles prepared by a modified sol–gel combustion method

TL;DR: In this article, plate-shaped zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) were successfully synthesized by a modified sol-gel combustion method, where zinc acetate, pure water and isopropanol were used as the starting materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of a narrow size distribution of zinc oxide nanoparticles.

TL;DR: The results confirm that TEA is a suitable polymer agent to prepare homogenous ZnO-NPs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sonochemical synthesis of hierarchical ZnO nanostructures

TL;DR: It was found that uniform ZnO nanorods with diameter around 50 nm were formed after 15 min of ultrasonication while flowerlike ZNO-NS was formed after 30 min, and this method produces high quality Zn O-NS with controllable shapes, uniformity, and purity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of ZnO nanoparticles prepared in gelatin media

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used long-chain gelatin compounds to terminate the growth of ZnO-NPs and to stabilize them, and the results showed that gelatin is an interesting material that can be used as a stabilizer in the sol-gel technique for preparing small zinc oxide nanoparticles.
