Long term outcome of infective endocarditis in patients who were not drug addicts : a 10 year study
Juan C. Castillo,M. Anguita,A Ramírez,J R Siles,F. Torres,Dolores Mesa,Franco M,Ignacio Muñoz,Manuel Concha,F. Valles +9 more
TL;DR: A high early surgery rate is related to good long term results and does not increase in-hospital mortality, however, medical treatment also offers favourable longterm results in cases of responsive infective endocarditis where poor prognostic factors are absent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simple and complex stent strategies for bifurcated coronary arterial stenosis involving the side branch origin.
Manuel Pan,José Suárez de Lezo,Alfonso Medina,Miguel Romero,Enrique Hernández,José L. Segura,Joaquin Ruiz de Castroviejo,Djordje Pavlovic,Francisco Melián,A Ramírez,Juan C. Castillo +10 more
TL;DR: Complex techniques providing radical stent reconstruction of the bifurcation seems to provide no advantages over the simpler stent jail followed by ostial side branch balloon dilation.
Journal ArticleDOI
A stepwise strategy for the stent treatment of bifurcated coronary lesions
Manuel Pan,José Suárez de Lezo,Alfonso Medina,Miguel Romero,José Segura,A Ramírez,Djordje Pavlovic,Enrique Hernández,Soledad Ojeda,Carmen Adamuz +9 more
TL;DR: This study evaluated the results of a three‐step phase strategy in the stent treatment of bifurcated coronary lesions, finding it may avoid side‐branch stent implantation in most patients, providing good immediate and long‐term results.
Journal ArticleDOI
Insuficiencia cardíaca debida a disfunción ventricular sistólica severa de origen hipertensivo. Evolución clínica y funcional a largo plazo
Manuel Anguita,Juan C. Castillo,A Ramírez,J R Siles,Soledad Ojeda,Dolores Mesa,Manuel Franco,Federico Vallés +7 more
TL;DR: La persistencia de dilatacion ventricular indica that el dano miocardico causado por the sobrecarga cronica de presion no desaparece, y el evolucion of the disfuncion ventricular severa hipertensiva es favorable a largo plazo with un correcto tratamiento.
