Journal Article

Single cell chromosomal imbalances detection by array CGH

TL;DR: An array CGH method that accurately detects chromosomal imbalances from a single lymphoblast, fibroblast and blastomere within a single day is presented and the possibility to detect aneuploidies in single blastomeres derived from preimplantation embryos is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Follow-up of children born after ICSI

TL;DR: The limited available data on ICSI fetal karyotypes reveal that, in comparison with a general neonatal population, there is a slight but significant increase in de-novo sex chromosomal aneuploidy and structural autosomal abnormalities and an increased number of inherited (mostly from the infertile father) structural aberrations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Time-course of oocyte activation, pronucleus formation and cleavage in human oocytes fertilized by intracytoplasmic sperm injection.

TL;DR: The morphological nuclear changes in 14 patients' oocytes were studied by means of light microscopic observation at 2, 4, 6, 8, 16, 18 and at 20 h after intracytoplasmic single sperm injection (ICSI).
Journal ArticleDOI

The relationship between embryo quality and the occurrence of multiple pregnancies.

TL;DR: In this article, a retrospective analysis of 1,915 consecutive transfers of fresh embryos between January 1986 and December 1989 was performed to study the relationship between the quality of the transferred embryos and the occurrence of multiple pregnancies.
