Triiodide Ion-Selective Electrode Based on Charge-Transfer Complex of 4,7,13,16,21,24-Hexaoxa-1,10-diazabicyclo-(8.8.8)hexacosane

TL;DR: Cryptand and its charge transfer complex with iodine was used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of copper in ore samples as discussed by the authors, where the response times (t95%) of the sensors were 10 and 5 s.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Novel Immunosensing Method Based on the Capture and Enzymatic Release of Sandwich-Type Covalently Conjugated Thionine-Gold Nanoparticles as a New Fluorescence Label Used for Ultrasensitive Detection of Hepatitis B Virus Surface Antigen.

TL;DR: In this paper, several new mechanisms and structures are used simultaneously, including a SEF-based metal nanoparticle–organic dye hybrid, dual signal amplification in a two-dimensional probe between the GNP–thionine hybrid and MNPs, and a novel releasing method using protease enzymes, which improve the sensitivity and speed, along with the simplicity of the procedure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of modified glassy carbon electrode by the use of titanium oxide, copper and palladium nanoparticles and its application for the electrocatalytic and photelectrocatalytic reduction of hydrogen peroxide

TL;DR: In this paper, a new electrochemical sensor for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) determination was fabricated based on less expensive and simple layer-by-layer method, where the morphological and elemental characteristics of palladium, copper and titanium oxide nanoparticles modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) were examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nano-architecture of MOF (ZIF-67)-based Co3O4 NPs@N-doped porous carbon polyhedral nanocomposites for oxidative degradation of antibiotic sulfamethoxazole from wastewater.

TL;DR: Co3O4 NPs in N-doped porous carbon were prepared by one-pot pyrolysis of a ZIF-67 powder under N2 atmosphere and followed by oxidation under air atmosphere (200 °C) toward promotion catalytic activity and activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) to degradation sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) as discussed by the authors .
Journal ArticleDOI

Nanomolar detection of guanine based on a novel cobalt oxide nanostructure-modified glassy carbon electrode

TL;DR: In this article, a glassy carbon electrode with uniform worm-like cobalt oxide nanostructures (CoOx-NSt) was used as a novel amperometric sensor for guanine determination in the nanomolar-micromolar concentration range.
