Journal ArticleDOI
Wireless sensor networks: A survey on monitoring water quality
TL;DR: This work surveys the application of WSN in environmental monitoring, with particular emphasis on water quality, taking into account their coverage, energy and security concerns.
Journal ArticleDOI
Variable Structure System with Sliding Mode Controller
TL;DR: The SMV SC simulation should be of interest to design engineers who wish to demonstrate and investigate sophisticated position-control methods and their applications and may also serve as a basis for further applications of SMVSC in other engineering fields.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of survival/hazard rate of natural ester treated with al2o3 nanoparticle for power transformer liquid dielectric
TL;DR: In this paper, the dielectric endurance of Marula Oil (MRO), a natural ester modified using Conductive Nano Particle (CNP) to replace petroleum-based dielectrics oils for power transformer applications, is discussed.
A Comparison between Using SIFT and SURF for Characteristic Region Based Image Steganography
TL;DR: A new region based steganography technique, which hides data in the robust regions of the image by using Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) and Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF).
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Characteristic region based image steganography using Speeded-Up Robust Features technique
TL;DR: Experimental results show the proposed algorithm allows hiding data invisibly with an accurate retrieval in the presence of lossy compression or noise, and the visual quality of the embedded image is high.
