Welfare Effects of Food Miles Labels
TL;DR: In this article, the consumer welfare effects of two generic food miles labels (C[O.sub.2] emission and time and number of kilometers) were evaluated using a choice experiment and the results indicated that a mandatory labeling policy for either type of labels would have a positive welfare effect.

Consumer preferences for fair labour certification
TL;DR: In this article, a large-scale survey was conducted to uncover consumer preferences for a food labeling system that certifies fair working conditions for the workers employed in agricultural production, finding that consumers are willing to pay an average premium of 53 cents per 500 gr, 95% CI [43.9, 62.3] for strawberries with fair labour certification.
