Journal ArticleDOI

High-Bandwidth Q-Band EPR Resonators

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the design of three resonators for Q-band frequencies (33-36 GHz) with a larger bandwidth than what was reported so far, and the new resonators are of a loop-gap type with 4-6 loops and were designed for 16-mm sample tubes to achieve higher field homogeneity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure and dynamics of copper complexes with 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridines in glassy matrices

TL;DR: In this article, continuous wave and pulse electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) as well as electron-nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) techniques are applied for determination of the electronic and geometric structure of copper(II) complexes with terpyridine and related ligands that are relevant in the context of supramolecular chemistry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gd(III) complexes as paramagnetic tags: Evaluation of the spin delocalization over the nuclei of the ligand.

TL;DR: The spin density is fully localized on the Gd(III) ion and that the spin density distribution over the nuclei of the ligands is rightfully ignored when analyzing distance measurements.
