Journal ArticleDOI

Sensitivity enhancement in pulse EPR distance measurements.

TL;DR: A variable-time experiment is proposed that achieves suppression of the relaxation contribution by reference deconvolution of the dipole-dipole coupling and leads to significant sensitivity improvements for typical systems and experimental conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gd(III)-PyMTA Label Is Suitable for In-Cell EPR

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the Gd(III) based spin label Gd-PyMTA is suitable for in-cell EPR and was proven to be inert in in- cell extracts of Xenopus laevis oocytes at 18 °C for more than 24 h.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spin pair geometry revealed by high-field DEER in the presence of conformational distributions.

TL;DR: Orientation selection on two nitroxide-labelled shape-persistent molecules is demonstrated by high-field pulsed electron-electron double resonance experiments at a frequency of 95 GHz with a commercial spectrometer, indicating that the technique can reveal deficiencies in modelling of the conformational ensemble of a macromolecule.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three-spin correlations in double electron–electron resonance

TL;DR: By measuring double electron-electron resonance data with variable inversion efficiency of the pump pulse and fitting the data at each point in time by appropriate polynomials the pair contribution can be separated from the three-spin contribution, which is shown to provide information on angles between spin-spin vectors.
