Design and Simulation of Electro-fabricated MEMS Microhotplate for Gas Sensor Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the simulation results of a new MEMS micro-hotplate design for gas sensor applications, which is designed to be fabricated on a glass substrate by the low cost process including physical vapor deposition, photolithography, electroplating, and photoresist-sacrificed process.
Book ChapterDOI

Nanomaterials for Sensing Applications: Introduction and Perspective

TL;DR: In this article, a wide range of nanomaterials including nanoparticles, quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, graphene, molecularly imprinted nanostructures, nanometal structures, DNA-based structures, smart nanommaterials, nanoprobes, magnetic-based nanomorphs, phthalocyanines, and porphyrins organic molecules for various gas/chemical/biological sensing applications are explored.
Journal ArticleDOI

Utilization of cracks to fabricate anodic aluminum oxide nanoporous tubular and rectangular membrane

TL;DR: In this article, a simple method to fabricate AAO nanoporous tubular and rectangular membrane is introduced based on cracking behavior of alumina when grown at two faces of aluminum (Al) perpendicular to each other.
