Journal ArticleDOI

High-temperature creep resistance and effects on the austenite reversion and precipitation of 18 Ni (300) maraging steel

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of high-temperature creep resistance on the evolution of martensite precipitates of maraging 300 steel and found that the main strengthening mechanism in a solution treated and aged material is the fine needle shaped Ni 3 (Ti,Mo) precipitates densely dispersed in a single martensitic phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

Creep behavior and surface characterization of a laser surface nitrided Ti-6Al-4V alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed characterization of the surface and cross section of the nitrided laser surface was carried out by optical/scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of Moringa oleifera seed as a natural coagulant in domestic wastewater tertiary treatment: Physicochemical, cytotoxicity and bacterial load evaluation

TL;DR: The use of Moringa oleifera (MO) seed aqueous extract for tertiary treatment of domestic wastewater by coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and rapid granular filtration was evaluated in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation on the microstructure and creep behavior of laser remelted thermal barrier coating

TL;DR: In this paper, a laser surface modification of the thermal barrier coating was investigated with the aim of increasing the creep resistance of Yttria-stabilized-zirconia (YSZ) with a CoNiCrAlY bond coat.
Journal ArticleDOI

Creep behavior study at 500 °C of laser nitrided Ti-6Al-4V alloy

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of laser treatment on the creep of the Ti-6Al-4V alloy was investigated and the results showed that the effect of the treatment was smaller and the behavior of the creep curves showed that life time was better.
