Journal ArticleDOI
Intracellular galectin-9 activates inflammatory cytokines in monocytes
Ai Matsuura,Junichi Tsukada,Takamitsu Mizobe,Takehiro Higashi,Fumihiko Mouri,Rena Tanikawa,Akira Yamauchi,Mitsuomi Hirashima,Yoshiya Tanaka +8 more
TL;DR: The results indicate that galectin‐9 is a LPS‐responsive factor, and demonstrate that intracellular galectIn‐9 transactivates inflammatory cytokine genes in monocytes through direct physical interaction with NF‐IL6.
Journal ArticleDOI
Growth suppression of human mast cells expressing constitutively active c-kit receptors by JNK inhibitor SP600125.
Bin Wang,Junichi Tsukada,Takehiro Higashi,Takamitsu Mizobe,Ai Matsuura,Fumihiko Mouri,Norifumi Sawamukai,Chisei Ra,Yoshiya Tanaka +8 more
TL;DR: The results obtained from the present study suggest the possibility that JNK/c-Jun may be a therapeutic target in diseases associated with mutations in the catalytic domain of c-kit.
Journal ArticleDOI
Constitutive association of MyD88 to IRAK in HTLV-I–transformed T cells
Takamitsu Mizobe,Junichi Tsukada,Takehiro Higashi,Fumihiko Mouri,Ai Matsuura,Rena Tanikawa,Yasuhiro Minami,Yasuhiro Yoshida,Yoshiya Tanaka +8 more
TL;DR: The results show a novel pathway in NF-kappaB activation in HTLV-I-transformed T cells and further demonstrate a critical role of MyD88 in their dysregulated gene activation, survival, and proliferation.
The efficacy of Micafungin as an empiric therapy for febrile neutropenic patients refractory to antibacterial agents
Takahiko Ishikawa,Tohru Takata,Takeaki Tomoyose,Masato Masuda,Sawako Nakachi,Shin Koga,Junichi Tsukada,Ai Matsuura,Atae Utsunomiya,Yoshio Saburi,Kazuo Tamura +10 more
Journal Article
[Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma accompanied by pure red cell aplasia].
Takamitsu Mizobe,Junichi Tsukada,Takehiro Higashi,Atsushi Iwashige,Takanori Ota,Ichiro Kawano,Ayumu Kubota,Ai Matsuura,Hiroaki Morimoto,Ryosuke Ogawa,Yoko Toda,Yoshiya Tanaka +11 more
TL;DR: Remission was achieved in both the pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) and AILT, and was also accompanied by normalization of the Coombs tests, suggesting that autoimmune mechanisms in AilT may contribute to the development of PRCA.
