Fabrication of composite coating particles with mullite stoichiometric ratio by a novel processing
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel processing (heterogeneous nucleation-and-growth processing) was used to prepare homogeneous distribution powders with mullite stoichiometric ratio (consisting of alpha alumina cores (average particle size 0.26 μm) with an outer homogeneous amorphous silica layer).
Journal ArticleDOI
Metalorganic chemical vapor deposition of lanthanum aluminate thin films for gate dielectrics
Aidong Li,Jin-Bo Cheng,Qiyue Shao,H.Q. Ling,Di Wu,Y.N. Wang,Min Wang,Z.G. Liu,N. B. Ming,Cathy Wang,H. W. Zhou,Bich-Yen Nguyen +11 more
TL;DR: Amorphous lanthanum aluminate (LAO) gate dielectric has been grown on silicon substrates by low-pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition as mentioned in this paper, and the structure, morphology, thermal stability, bandgap, and electrical properties have been characterized by various techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics of SrBi2Ta2O9 ferroelectric films in an in situ applied low electric field prepared by metalorganic decomposition
TL;DR: In this article, a low electric field was in situ applied during the film crystallization to control the c-axis-preferred orientation of SBT films, and it was shown that the interface-induced nucleation growth between SBT and Pt coated substrate with application of low electric fields plays a key role.
Journal ArticleDOI
Realizing the enhanced cyclability of a cactus-like NiCo2O4 nanocrystal anode fabricated by molecular layer deposition
TL;DR: In this paper, a molecular layer deposition (MLD)-derived conductive Al2O3/carbon layer was employed to stabilize the structure of the cactus-like NiCo2O4 nanocrystal (NC) anode.
Journal ArticleDOI
PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF POLED NANOCRYSTALS AND POLYMER COMPOSITE SrBi2Ta2O9/PC FILMS
TL;DR: In this article, the structure and morphology of SBT nanocrystals and composite films were studied by means of x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission-electron microscopy.
