Journal ArticleDOI

A high-resistivity phase induced by swift heavy-ion irradiation of Bi: a probe for thermal spike damage?

TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived the rate of the induced damage from in situ electrical resistance measurements, and calculated the evolution with Se of the latent tracks radii on the basis of the thermal spike model, assuming a realistic value for the electron-phonon coupling constant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interplay between chains of S=5/2 localised spins and two-dimensional sheets of organic donors in the synthetically built magnetic multilayer λ-(BETS)2FeCl4

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of a RKKY-type indirect exchange and of applied magnetic field are described within the framework of a generalized Kondo lattice, namely two chains of 5/2 Fe3+ localised spins coupled through the itinerant spins of the 2D sheets of BETS.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-energy heavy-ion irradiations of Fe85B15 amorphous alloy: evidence for electronic energy loss effect

TL;DR: Amorphous metallic Fe85B15 alloy has been irradiated at low temperature with Ar, Kr and Xe ions of initial energies of 1.8, 2.7 and 3.0 GeV, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multiple quantum oscillations in the de Haas-van Alphen spectra of the underdoped high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O6.5.

TL;DR: The results do not support the existence of a larger frequency of the order of 1650 T reported recently in the same compound, and the main oscillation is found to be three closely spaced frequencies, indicating that c axis coherence is restored at low temperature in underdoped cuprates.
