Interfacial scattering and interface resistance for penpendicular transport in magnetic multilayers
Józef Barnaś,Albert Fert +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spin-dependent interface resistance due to specular electron reflections from potential steps and to diffuse scattering by the defects of the interfaces is calculated within the Landauer approach.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spin Hall effect induced by Bi impurities in Cu: Skew scattering and side-jump
TL;DR: In this paper, the spin Hall effect (SHE) is induced by skew scattering and scattering with side-jump from Bi impurities in Cu, and the authors use ab initio calculations of the electronic structure of CuBi alloys to estimate the values of these two contributions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spin-transfer-induced domain wall motion in a spin valve
Julie Grollier,Pierre Boulenc,Vincent Cros,Amir Hamzić,Annie Vaures,Albert Fert,Giancarlo Faini +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the current-induced displacement of a domain wall (DW) in the permalloy layer of a Co/Cu/Py spin-valve structure was studied, and the current density required to move DW is of the order of a few 106'A/cm2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of the magnetization reversal in submicron Co particles by GMR measurements
TL;DR: In this article, the size dependence of the GMR ratio and of the reversal magnetic field was analyzed for Co particles with sizes between 100 × 50 μm 2 and 180 × 20 nm 2.

Spin to charge conversion in MoS$_{2}$ monolayer with spin pumping
Cheng Cheng,Martin Collet,Juan-Carlos Rojas Sanchez,Viktoria V. Ivanovskaya,Bruno Dlubak,Pierre Seneor,Albert Fert,Hyun Kyu Kim,Gang Hee Han,Young Hee Lee,Heejun Yang,Abdelmadjid Anane +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the conversion of spin current to charge current in MoS2 monolayer was investigated using spin pumping from a ferromagnetic layer (10 nm of cobalt) and the spin to charge conversion is highly efficient.
