Dioxygen and water activation processes on multi-Ru-substituted polyoxometalates: comparison with the "blue-dimer" water oxidation catalyst.

TL;DR: Dioxygen and water activation on multi-Ru-substituted polyoxometalates were studied using the B3LYP density functional method and the latter has been found to be kinetically more favorable.
Journal ArticleDOI

Peculiar antiaromatic inorganic molecules of tetrapnictogen in Na+Pn4- (Pn = P, As, Sb) and important consequences for hydrocarbons.

TL;DR: There is theoretical and experimental evidence that the 6 -electron tetrapnictogen dianions in Na+Pn42- (Pn = P, As, Sb) undergo a transition from being aromatic to antiaromatic upon electron detachment, yielding the first inorganicAntiaromatic Na-Pn4- molecules, first uncovered in inorganic clusters into organic chemistry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopic studies, molecular structure optimization and investigation of structural and electrical properties of novel and biodegradable Chitosan-GO polymer nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this paper, the molecular structure optimization and spectroscopic studies, such as Raman, UV-Vis absorption and FTIR, carried out for novel, biodegradable and biocompatible chitosan-graphene oxide (CS-GO) polymer nanocomposites (PNCs), which were synthesized by using simple blending technique followed by ultrasonification treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

DFT and single crystal analysis of the pyrimethamine-based novel co-crystal salt: 2,4-diamino-5-(4-chloro-phenyl)-6-ethylpyrimidin-1-ium:4-hydroxybenzoate:methanol:hydrate (1:1:1:1) (DEHMH)

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis, single crystal analysis, and computational investigation of pyrimethamine co-crystal salt with 4-hydroxybenzoic acid in methanol were discussed.
