Journal ArticleDOI
Multicolor light-emitting diodes based on semiconductor nanocrystals encapsulated in GaN charge injection layers.
Alexander H. Mueller,Melissa A. Petruska,Marc Achermann,Donald J. Werder,Elshan A. Akhadov,Daniel D. Koleske,Mark A. Hoffbauer,Victor I. Klimov +7 more
TL;DR: The first successful demonstration of electroluminescence from an all-inorganic, nanocrystal-based architecture in which semiconductor nanocrystals are incorporated into a p-n junction formed from GaN injection layers is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of the thin-film NbN superconductor for single-photon detection by transport measurements
Shi-Zeng Lin,Oscar Ayala-Valenzuela,Ross D. McDonald,Lev N. Bulaevskii,Terry G. Holesinger,Filip Ronning,Nina R. Weisse-Bernstein,Todd L. Williamson,Alexander H. Mueller,Mark A. Hoffbauer,Michael W. Rabin,Matthias J. Graf +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors characterized micro-patterned thin NbN films by using transport measurements in magnetic fields and showed that from the instability of vortex motion at high currents in the flux-flow state ofthe IV characteristic, the inelastic life time of quasiparticles can be determined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Titanium(IV) Trifluoromethyl Complexes: New Perspectives on Bonding from Organometallic Fluorocarbon Chemistry
Felicia L. Taw,Aurora E. Clark,Alexander H. Mueller,Michael T. Janicke,Thibault Cantat,Brian L. Scott,P. Jeffrey Hay,Russell P. Hughes,Jaqueline L. Kiplinger +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a trifluoromethyltrimethylsilane (CH3)3SiCF3 was used as an excellent CF3 group transfer reagent.
Patent
Colloidal quantum dot light emitting diodes
TL;DR: In this paper, a first layer of a semiconductor material from the group of a p-type semiconductor and a n-type polysilicon, and a layer of colloidal nanocrystals on the first layer were presented.
