Journal ArticleDOI

A review of energetic materials synthesis

TL;DR: A review of recent advances in the synthesis of heterocycles as energetic materials can be found in this article, where the authors focus on recent advances of the synthesis and application of hetercyclic materials in the development of pyrotechnics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fmoc-Based Synthesis of Peptide α-Thioesters Using an Aryl Hydrazine Support†

TL;DR: A new method for the SPPS of C-terminal thioesters using Fmoc/t-Bu chemistry is described, based on the use of an aryl hydrazine linker, which is totally stable to conditions required for FmOC-SPPS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct photometric or fluorometric assay of proteinases using substrates containing 7-amino-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin.

TL;DR: The yellow-green fluorescence of the free coumarin I makes it possible to visually observe hydrolysis of the arylamide bond, thus making it a very useful non-mutagenic fluorophore for the identification and quantification of proteinases whether in dynamic assay or in intact cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of 4‐amino‐3,5‐dinitro‐1H‐pyrazole using vicarious nucleophilic substitution of hydrogen

TL;DR: In this article, a novel synthesis of the title compound was achieved by direct animation using Vicarious Nucleophilic Substitution (VNS) methodology, using 1,1,1-trimethylhydrazinium iodide with 3,5-dinitropyrazole in DMSO.
