Mesoscopic proximity effect probed through superconducting tunneling contacts
TL;DR: In this paper, the Andreev-Interferometer was used to investigate the properties of complex mesoscopic superconducting-normal hybrid devices, where the current is proped through a superconducted tunneling contact whereas the proximity effect is generated by a transparent SN-interface.
Journal ArticleDOI
Proximity Effect in a Superconducting Triplet Spin Valve S1/F1/S2/F2
R.R. Gaifullin,V. N. Kushnir,V. N. Kushnir,R. G. Deminov,Lenar Tagirov,Lenar Tagirov,M. Yu. Kupriyanov,M. Yu. Kupriyanov,M. Yu. Kupriyanov,Alexandre Avraamovitch Golubov,Alexandre Avraamovitch Golubov +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of an additional superconductor layer on the effects of a three-layer spin valve was considered and the possibility of increasing the efficiency of the spin valve modes with an extra superconducting layer S in the place of the layer N is discussed in comparison with an additional normal layer in the S/F/N/F structure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modeling of Local Trapping States in Superconductor Tunnel Junctions With Kondo Impurities
R. A. Hijmering,A. G. Kozorezov,Alexandre Avraamovitch Golubov,Peter Verhoeve,Didier D. E. Martin,J. K. Wigmore,I. Jerjen +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a theory of inelastic transitions incorporating intra-gap localized states at magnetic impurities is proposed. But this theory is restricted to superconducting tunnel junctions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quasiparticle density of states in a half metal in the presence of odd-frequency Cooper pairs
TL;DR: In this paper, the local density of states in a half metal sandwiched by two superconductors was studied and the spin-flip scattering at the junction interface opened the Josephson channels of the odd-frequency spin-triplet s-wave Cooper pairs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Disorder-Promoted Splitting in Quasiparticle Interference at Nesting Vectors.
Vasily S. Stolyarov,V. A. Sheina,D. A. Khokhlov,D. A. Khokhlov,Sergio Vlaic,Stéphane Pons,Hervé Aubin,Hervé Aubin,R. S. Akzyanov,R. S. Akzyanov,Andrey S. Vasenko,Tatiana V. Menshchikova,Eugene V. Chulkov,Eugene V. Chulkov,Alexandre Avraamovitch Golubov,Alexandre Avraamovitch Golubov,T. Cren,Dimitri Roditchev,Dimitri Roditchev,Dimitri Roditchev +19 more
TL;DR: Inelastic interactions of quantum systems with the environment usually wash coherent effects out. In the case of Friedel oscillations, the presence of disorder leads to a fast decay of the oscillat...
