Journal ArticleDOI
Coherent long-range magnetic bound states in a superconductor
Gerbold Menard,Sébastien Guissart,Christophe Brun,Stéphane Pons,Stéphane Pons,Vasily S. Stolyarov,Vasily S. Stolyarov,François Debontridder,Matthieu V. Leclerc,Etienne Janod,Laurent Cario,Dimitri Roditchev,Dimitri Roditchev,Pascal Simon,Tristan Cren +14 more
TL;DR: Magnetic atoms embedded in a niobium selenide superconductor were shown to give rise to a long-range coherent bound state extending tens of nanometres.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ferromagnetic Josephson switching device with high characteristic voltage
Timofei I. Larkin,Vitaly V. Bolginov,Vasily S. Stolyarov,Valery V. Ryazanov,Igor V. Vernik,Sergey K. Tolpygo,Oleg A. Mukhanov +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a fast magnetic Josephson junction (MJJ) was developed for a scalable high-density cryogenic memory compatible in speed and fabrication with energy-efficient single flux quantum (SFQ) circuits.
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct observation of Josephson vortex cores
Dimitri Roditchev,Dimitri Roditchev,Christophe Brun,Lise Serrier-Garcia,Juan Carlos Cuevas,Vagner Henrique Loiola Bessa,Milorad V. Milošević,Milorad V. Milošević,François Debontridder,Vasily S. Stolyarov,Tristan Cren +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, superconducting correlations inside proximity Josephson junctions are mapped using scanning tunnelling microscopy, and it is shown that such Josephson vortices have real cores, in which the proximity gap is locally suppressed and the normal state recovered.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ferromagnetic Josephson switching device with high characteristic voltage
Timofei I. Larkin,Vitaly V. Bolginov,Vasily S. Stolyarov,Valery V. Ryazanov,Igor V. Vernik,Sergey K. Tolpygo,Oleg A. Mukhanov +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a fast Magnetic Josephson Junction (MJJ) was developed for a scalable high-density cryogenic memory compatible in speed and fabrication with energy-efficient Single Flux Quantum (SFQ) circuits.
Journal ArticleDOI
Josephson tunnel junctions with a strong ferromagnetic interlayer
TL;DR: In this article, the dependence of the critical current density on the ferromagnetic interlayer thickness was determined for Josephson tunnel junctions with very thin films, and the results indicated that the insertion of a $F$ layer leads to additional interface scattering.
