Journal ArticleDOI
SARS-CoV-2 Infection Dysregulates the Metabolomic and Lipidomic Profiles of Serum.
Chiara Bruzzone,Maider Bizkarguenaga,Rubén Gil-Redondo,Tammo Diercks,Eunate Arana,Aitor García de Vicuña,Marisa Seco,Alexandre Bosch,Asis Palazon,Itxaso San Juan,Ana Laín,Jon Gil-Martínez,Ganeko Bernardo-Seisdedos,David Fernández-Ramos,Fernando Lopitz-Otsoa,Nieves Embade,Shelly C. Lu,José M. Mato,Oscar Millet +18 more
TL;DR: The results are consistent with a model in which SARS-CoV-2 infection induces liver damage associated with dyslipidemia and oxidative stress, and PCA analyses discriminating both cohorts highlighted the impact that the infection has in overall metabolism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural Characterization of N-Linked Glycans in the Receptor Binding Domain of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein and their Interactions with Human Lectins.
Maria Pia Lenza,Iker Oyenarte,Tammo Diercks,Jon I. Quintana,Ana Gimeno,Helena Coelho,Ana Diniz,Francesca Peccati,Sandra Delgado,Alexandre Bosch,Mikel Valle,Oscar Millet,Nicola G. A. Abrescia,Nicola G. A. Abrescia,Asis Palazon,Filipa Marcelo,Gonzalo Jiménez-Osés,Jesús Jiménez-Barbero,Jesús Jiménez-Barbero,Ana Ardá,June Ereño-Orbea +20 more
TL;DR: 3D models of the interacting complexes have been proposed based on the findings of the deeply analysed and characterized glycan structures of the receptor binding domain of the SARS‐CoV2 spike glycoprotein studied by using NMR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural characterization of the N-linked glycans in the receptor binding domain of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and their interactions with human lectins using NMR spectroscopy.
Maria Pia Lenza,Iker Oyenarte,Tammo Diercks,Jon I. Quintana,Ana Gimeno,Alexandre Bosch,Helena Coelho,Ana Diniz,Francesca Peccati,Sandra Delgado,Mikel Valle,Oscar Millet,Nicola G. A. Abrescia,Asis Palazon,Filipa Marcelo,Gonzalo Jiménez-Osés,Jesús Jiménez-Barbero,Ana Ardá,June Ereño-Orbea +18 more
TL;DR: 3D models of the interacting complexes have been proposed based on the analysis of glycan structures of the receptor binding domain of the SARS-CoV2 spike glycoprotein expressed in human HEK293F cells by using NMR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hypoxia Promotes Syndecan-3 Expression in the Tumor Microenvironment.
Endika Prieto-Fernández,Leire Egia-Mendikute,Alexandre Bosch,Ana Garcia del Rio,Borja Jimenez-Lasheras,Asier Antoñana-Vildosola,So Young Lee,Asis Palazon +7 more
TL;DR: Syndecan-3 expression correlates with a better patient overall survival in hypoxic melanoma tumors, and HIF-1α was responsible for this upregulation as confirmed by CRISPR-engineered tumor cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Therapeutic targeting of LIF overcomes macrophage mediated immunosuppression of the local tumor microenvironment.
Robin M. Hallett,Ester Bonfill-Teixidor,Raffaella Iurlaro,Alexandra Arias,Swetha Raman,Peter E. Bayliss,Olga Egorova,Almudena Neva-Alejo,AJ Robert McGray,Esther Yee Tak Lau,Alexandre Bosch,Melissa Beilschmidt,Dorothea Maetzel,J. Fransson,I. Huber-Ruano,Judit Anido,Jean-Philippe Julien,Patricia A. Giblin,Joan Seoane +18 more
TL;DR: In this article , the association of LIF expression with tumor associated macrophages (TAMs) was found to be associated with tumor development and progression in colorectal cancer.
