The steganography process combines mathematics and computer science. Steganography consists of a set of methods and techniques to embed the data into another media so that the contents are unreadable to anyone who does not have the authority to read these data. The main objective of the use of base64 method is to convert any file in order to achieve privacy. This paper discusses a steganography and encoding method using base64, which is a set of encoding schemes that convert the same binary data to the form of a series of ASCII code. Also, the EoF technique is used to embed encoding text performed by Base64. As an example, for the mechanisms a file is used to represent the texts, and by using the two methods together will increase the security level for protecting the data, this research aims to secure many types of files in a particular media with a good security and not to damage the stored files and coverage media that used.

Rabin Karp algorithm is a search algorithm that searches for a substring pattern in a text using hashing. It is beneficial for matching words with many patterns. One of the practical applications of Rabin Karp's algorithm is in the detection of plagiarism. Michael O. Rabin and Richard M. Karp invented the algorithm. This algorithm performs string search by using a hash function. A hash function is the values that are compared between two documents to determine the level of similarity of the document. Rabin-Karp algorithm is not very good for single pattern text search. This algorithm is perfect for multiple pattern search. The Levenshtein algorithm can be used to replace the hash calculation on the Rabin-Karp algorithm. The hash calculation on Rabin-Karp only counts the number of hashes that have the same value in both documents. Using the Levenshtein algorithm, the calculation of the hash distance in both documents will result in better accuracy.

Cryptography Technique with Modular Multiplication Block Cipher and Playfair Cipher

ABSTRAK 
Saat ini, laptop merupakan salah satu kebutuhan bagi pekerja maupun pelajar. Maka dari itu, perusahaan – perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang teknologi beramai – ramai membuat laptop dengan model dan spesifikasi masing – masing. Banyaknya pilihan laptop yang ada saat ini, membuat masyarakat menjadi kebingungan. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkanlah system pengambil keputusan yang akan membantu masyarakat dalam memilih laptop yang sesuai dengan kriteria dan anggaran yang diinginkan. Kriteria yang dimaksud antara lain berdasarkan pada layar, harga serta kapasitas laptop. Dalam jurnal ini, penulis menggunakan metode fuzzy mamdani untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian dalam menentukan jenis laptop yang sesuai berdasarkan dari data – data yang akan diteliti. Penulis juga menggunakan software matlab dengan tujuan untuk mempercepat proses dalam mengolah data.

It is undeniable that advances in technology and the rapid spread of information are also accompanied by an increase of crime in the IT field, very valuable information is sought by criminals in the IT field in order to be misused so that they gain enormous profits. One of the information is student value data, so a system is needed that applies a cryptographic algorithm that can secure the information in this case the method used is securing student value data using the Data Encryption Standard (DES) algorithm. DES is asymmetrical cryptographic algorithm and is also classified as a cipher block with a 64-bit key size. DES converts plaintext into a ciphertext of the same size, 64 bits using a 56-bit internal key. By building a system to implement the DES algorithm in securing data values, it is hoped that it can help the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra in protecting the confidentiality of data values from irresponsible parties

The reason for this examination was to decide the significance of Mendeley's reference to the board programming and to prepare instructors in arranging references in the planning of logical papers. This exploration is a result of network administration that has been done by teachers at the 1 Medan State Junior High School. This examination technique is subjective with a contextual investigation approach.
