TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive review on different applications of multivariate curve resolution-alternating least squares (MCR-ALS) in electrochemistry is presented, such as complexation studies, small molecule-biomacromolecule interactions, minimization of electrodic adsorption, separation of the faradic current contribution from total current to enhance the sensitivity of the electroanalytical techniques, quantification and spectroelectrochemistry.
