Structure-activity relationships for cytotoxic ruthenium(II) arene complexes containing N,N-, N,O-, and O,O-chelating ligands

TL;DR: In this paper, structure-activity relationships for organometallic RuII complexes of the type [(η6-arene)Ru(XY)Cl]Z, where XY is an N,N- (diamine), N,O- (e.g., amino acidate), or O,O − (β-diketonate) chelating ligand, the arene ranges from benzene derivatives to fused polycyclic hydrocarbons, and Z is usually PF6.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of high pressure on the crystal structures of polymorphs of glycine

TL;DR: The effect of high pressure on the crystal structures of α-, β-, and γ-glycine has been investigated in this article, where a new polymorph, δ-Glycine, was obtained from β glycine.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Photoactivated trans‐Diammine Platinum Complex as Cytotoxic as Cisplatin

TL;DR: Both trans- and cis-diammine platinum(IV) diazide complexes therefore have potential as photochemotherapeutic agents.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of a CCD diffractometer in crystal structure determinations at high pressure

TL;DR: In this article, the Bruker-Nonius SMART APEX (a fixed-χ instrument) is used for single-crystal diffraction at high pressure, where the incident beam must illuminate the sample and no more than 80% of the detector should be shaded by the body of the pressure cell.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isotopic Polymorphism in Pyridine

TL;DR: Though all attempts to crystallize h5 failed to yield anything but the h5-I phase, crystallization of pyridine-d5 from pentane yielded a new phase, d5-II, at 188 K, which has one molecule in the asymmetric unit, but does not correspond to any of the predicted polymorphs of h5.
